Freetech’s High-Resolution Camera Modules Secured Mass Production Nominations, Accelerating Adoption of Smart Perception Solutions

As a key component of Freetech’s hardware-software integrated and fully self-developed ODIN intelligent base, the camera module product portfolio has already formed a complete one-stop solution. This solution leverages Freetech’s accumulated experience in simulation evaluation and mass-production practice of developing smart cameras and domain controller products. Through multiple product generations and continuous refinement, Freetech has ultimately established a complete technical closed loop, covering from the hierarchical decomposition of planning and control system for intelligent driving, and the selection of core components by complete optical path simulation; to the miniaturized and highly reliable design of camera modules, standardized integration of vehicle application, and multi-platform ISP support; and further to full-chain testing & verification and flexible manufacturing delivery. This ensures the products’ industry-leading position in terms of performance, reliability, and delivery efficiency.

As a key vision sensor, the performance of camera module directly affects perception’s upper limit for intelligent driving system. High-resolution cameras provide clearer images that contain more detailed object information utilizing a wider dynamic range, enabling vehicles to accurately identify distant objects under various environmental situations. At the 2025 Shanghai International Auto Show, Freetech introduced a product matrix for high-resolution camera modules with high reliablity, including 3-megapixel surround and side view camera modules as well as 8-megapixel dual front-view modules, providing solid perception support for high level ADAS functionalities.

This mass production nomination demonstrates Freetech’s dual strength in product innovation and mass production delivery capabilities. As a leading domestic supplier of intelligent driving assistance solutions, Freetech has built up a core product component matrix, which includes high-resolution cameras, front radars, corner radars and domain controllers.
