Provincial Party Secretary Wang Hao Visits Jiaxing for Inspection; Freetech Invited to Attend Roundtable and Briefing

On May 7, Wang Hao, Secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, visited Jiaxing to inspect the development of a first-class innovation ecosystem and presided over a roundtable. Freetech, as a representative of innovative enterprise in the intelligent driving sector, was invited to attend. Dr. Lin Zhang, Chairman of Freetech, delivered a briefing at the roundtable, offering corporate suggestions on accelerating the development of "Innovative Zhejiang" and fostering a top-tier innovation ecosystem.

During the inspection, Secretary Wang Hao received briefings from several enterprises and research institutions regarding their development progress, research advancements in key areas, technology transfer outcomes, and the current challenges they face. Wang Hao pointed out that efforts should be made to remove bottlenecks hindering the construction of a first-class innovation ecosystem, continuously focus on key leverage points such as the orderly flow and sharing of talents and enterprise-led integrated innovation across industry, academia, research, and application, accelerate the formation of more landmark achievements, and steadily improve the overall efficiency of the innovation system.

In the afternoon of May 7, Wang Hao presided over a roundtable in Jiaxing. Representatives from Jiaxing City, Jiaxing Yangtze River Delta Innovation Investment Group, JinkoSolar Co., Ltd., and Freetech (Zhejiang) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. presented  briefings in turn. Dr. Zhang Lin reported during the roundtable that Freetech is currently accelerating the deep integration of physical AI with intelligent driving to enhance industrial competitiveness through integrating  quality and efficiency together. He proposed several suggestions which include improving the enterprise-led collaborative technology development mechanism, promoting efficient interaction among technology, talent, capital, and application scenarios, achieving deep coupling and synergy between the innovation chain and the industrial chain, and supporting the long-term stable development of enterprises with higher levels of integration quality and efficiency.

After listening to the briefings, Secretary Wang Hao remarked that the whole province has made a good start in building a first-class innovation ecosystem since the beginning of the year. He emphasized the need to seize opportunities, solve development difficulties through reform and innovation, and iteratively improve problem-solving tools. He further stressed the importance of promoting the orderly flow and sharing of talent, advancing enterprise-led integrated innovation across industry, academia, research, and application, strengthening basic research based on local conditions and key priorities, channeling financial "living water" into technological innovation, and enhancing the tangible benefits of policies and services for enterprises — making policy support more precise and effective, and enabling enterprises to feel a greater sense of gain.
