Lian Yimin, Chairman of Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, Visits Freetech for Research and Guidance

Recently, Lian Yimin, Chairman of Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led a delegation to visit Freetech's Intelligent Manufacturing Base for a research and guidance tour. Dr. Zhang Lin, Chairman of Freetech, along with Dr. Shen Junqiang, Chief Scientist and Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Engineer, and He Junjie, Vice President and Zhejiang Provincial Outstanding Engineer, warmly received the delegation and accompanied them throughout the visit.

Chairman Lian conducted an onsite inspection of Freetech's progress in developing joint training base, cultivating young engineering talent, and implementing digital applications. He commended the company’s efforts in fostering engineering talent. He encouraged young talents to step up and take key roles on major responsibilities, and drive more scientific and technological innovations from laboratory to production line.

During the research tour, Chairman Lian emphasized the need to deepen the integrated reform and development of education, technology, and talent. He calls for clear objectives, a focus on key priorities, and a systematic approach to cultivating outstanding engineers. He noted that efforts should be made to strengthen the platforms to attract talents guided by industrial needs. He mentioned that development should center around the provincial "315" Science and Technology Innovation System Construction Project and the "415X" Advanced Manufacturing Cluster Cultivation Project, accelerating the construction of platforms such as Outstanding Engineer Practice Bases and Engineer Collaborative Innovation Centers. He further pointed out that it is essential to enhance synergy to pool wisdom and nurture talent, align engineering education precisely with industrial demands and actively build a "three-in-one" cultivation mechanism that integrates engineering universities, pilot testing platforms, and leading enterprises to expand the pool of outstanding engineering talent. Finally, he stressed the importance of boosting incentives to optimize the ecosystem, deepening the dual-appointment system between universities and enterprises, aligning and integrating talent evaluation systems, and fostering a vibrant environment where talent can emulate excellence, dedicate themselves to hard work, overcome core challenges, and pioneer innovation.


Dr. Zhang Lin stated that Freetech will remain committed to prioritizing both technological innovation and talent development. The company will further refine its full-lifecycle career development systems for engineers, giving full play to the exemplary and leading roles of outstanding engineers. By doing so, Freetech aims to support the accelerated building of an "Innovative Zhejiang" and a modern industrial system, contribute Freetech's strength to achieve self-reliance and controllability in core intelligent driving technologies.
